Palm fruit is unique to South and Central America. The peach palm is said to taste like hearts of palm by some and sweet chestnut by others.
Recommended use:
Drain and rinse the peach palm. They are ready to eat. Can be eaten as an appetiser or as an accompaniment to a dish.
